Day 1: Monday: Arrival in Aswan

Our representative will meet you at Aswan Airport, the train station, or your hotel, and accompany you to check in aboard the Nile cruise ship in Aswan.

Check-in and lunch on board both take place around 1:00 PM. In the late afternoon, at 5:00 PM, tea is served, giving guests a chance to relax and settle in before dinner, which is served on board at 8:00 PM. The night is spent moored in Aswan.

Day 2: Tuesday: Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi

The morning begins with an 8:00 AM visit to the Kalabsha temple complex, which also encompasses the smaller rock-cut temple of Beit El Wali and the elegant, partially reconstructed Kiosk of Kertassi.

By 10:30 AM, the ship sails onward toward Wadi el Seboua, with lunch served on board at 1:00 PM. Afternoon tea follows at 5:00 PM.

As evening sets in, a cocktail party at 7:15 PM introduces guests to the ship's department heads, and dinner is served on board at 8:00 PM. The night is spent moored at Wadi el Seboua.

Day 3: Wednesday: Dakka, Meharakka, and Amada Temples

The day opens with an 8:00 AM visit to the Wadi el Seboua temple, before the ship sails at 10:30 AM toward Amada.

In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, guests explore the Amada complex, which brings together the Amada Temple, Derr Temple, and the Tomb of Pennut in a single visit.

The evening closes with a Nubian show performed by the ship's staff at 9:30 PM, a lively cultural performance reflecting the traditions of the region. The night is spent moored at Amada.

Day 4: Thursday: Kasr Ibrim and Abu Simbel Temple

An early departure at 6:30 AM takes the ship toward Kasr Ibrim, the historic hilltop fortress overlooking the Nile. At 8:45 AM, guests get a 15-minute photo opportunity of the site from the sundeck, since the fortress itself isn't accessible on foot.

As the ship approaches its final destination, a panoramic view of Abu Simbel Temple from the sundeck is offered at 12:15 PM, again for about 15 minutes and photos only. The full visit to Abu Simbel Temple itself begins at 12:30 PM, allowing guests to explore the colossal facade and inner sanctuaries up close.

For those interested, an optional Sound & Light Show takes place in the evening. The night is spent moored at Abu Simbel.

Day 5: Friday: Disembarkatio

The final morning begins with breakfast on board before disembarkation. Guests are then transferred to Abu Simbel Airport, bringing the cruise to a close.

To keep your booking with Min Travel simple and secure, our payment terms depend on the type of service you choose:

• Day Tours & Excursions: Full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
• Multi-Day Tour Packages & Nile Cruises: A 30% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due at least 15 days before arrival.
• Christmas, New Year & Easter Bookings: Because of high seasonal demand, a 50% deposit is required to confirm reservations during these periods.

Once your payment is received, we will email you a written confirmation, a tailored itinerary, and your travel documents. Receipts are provided for every payment.

We know plans can change, so we keep our cancellation terms clear and straightforward:

• 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund, minus any bank or transaction fees
• 15 to 29 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee of the total tour cost
• 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
• Less than 7 days before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

Where a refund applies, it is processed within 14 business days of our receiving your written cancellation notice. Please note that some cruises and hotels enforce stricter cancellation policies; where this is the case, the details will be clearly stated in your itinerary.

Families are always welcome at Min Travel, and we offer the following children's pricing:

• Infants under 2 years: Free of charge
• Children 2–5 years: 25% of the adult price
• Children 6–11 years: 50% of the adult price
• Children 12 years and above: Full adult price

These discounts apply only when children share accommodation with two full-paying adults. Some Nile Cruises and luxury hotels apply different policies or restrictions for young children; where relevant, these will be detailed in your itinerary.

A number of special experiences are optional and not part of our standard packages. You can reserve them in advance or arrange them on-site, subject to availability. Examples include:

• Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu and other tombs
• Sound & Light Shows at the Giza Pyramids, Karnak, or Philae Temples
• Hot air balloon rides over Luxor at sunrise
• Camel rides or horse-drawn carriage tours through historic districts
• Private photo sessions at iconic landmarks

Optional tours can be paid for in USD or local currency (EGP). We recommend booking ahead, particularly during peak seasons.

Our packages are comprehensive, but travelers should still set aside a budget for:

• Personal purchases such as souvenirs and snacks
• Beverages with meals, unless otherwise specified
• Hotel extras such as the minibar, room service, and laundry
• Egypt entry visa fees, usually payable on arrival
• SIM cards or internet access, unless provided
• Gratuities and optional experiences

We recommend carrying small amounts of local currency (EGP) for convenience, especially for tipping and shopping at local markets.

Tipping, known locally as "baksheesh," is a customary way to show appreciation for good service in Egypt. It is not mandatory, but it is always warmly received:

• Tour guide: $15–$20 per day, per group
• Driver: $5–$10 per day, per group
• Nile Cruise crew: $5–$10 per person, per night (shared among the staff)
• Hotel staff such as porters and housekeeping: small tips of $1–$2

Tipping is generally not included in your package price, so we recommend carrying small USD or EGP bills to make it easy.

The ideal time to Lake Nasser Cruise is from October to April, when cooler weather makes sightseeing far more comfortable. It is best to avoid the peak summer months of May to September, when temperatures can become extreme.

Swimming in the Lake Nasser is generally not recommended because of health and safety concerns, including pollution and strong currents. As a result, most cruises do not permit swimming in the Lake Nasser itself.

During the day, dress is casual and comfortable, with light, breathable fabrics recommended. For evening dinners or events, smart casual attire works best. When visiting religious or historical sites, modest clothing is advised.
