Ras Mohammed Snorkeling Tour from Sharm Marina

Every itinerary on this page is private — your own guide, your own driver, your own pace — with hotels and cruise boats our team has inspected in person. The archaeology is done properly, the pace is yours, and nothing on any of them is a commission stop.
Most guests take between 9 and 12 days. That is long enough to give Cairo three full days, spend four nights on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, and still finish on the Red Sea rather than flying home exhausted.
Eight days covers Cairo and a short cruise. Ten gives you Cairo, Luxor and Aswan without rushing. Twelve or more lets you add Alexandria or the Red Sea. Under a week, we would rather sell you a focused Cairo trip than a scramble.
October to April. Upper Egypt reaches 41°C by lunchtime between June and August, which makes tomb days genuinely unpleasant. Those months are excellent for the Red Sea and considerably cheaper.

“Our guide Hoda knew every corner of the Valley of the Kings and got us in before the coaches arrived. Fourteen days and not one wasted morning.”
“Our flight to Aswan was cancelled the night before. The team rebooked us, moved the hotel and messaged at 1am to confirm. We didn't lose a single site.”
“The boat is comfortable rather than glamorous — be clear on that. But the guiding was the best of the three trips I have taken to Egypt.”
The things guests ask us on the phone, answered properly. Written by the team who meet you at the airport.
October to April for the archaeology. May to September for the Red Sea, at roughly two-thirds of the price.
Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival or apply online before travelling. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
The currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP). US dollars and euros are widely accepted at hotels and cruise boats; local shops and cafés want EGP.
Layered light clothing during the day, something warmer for the desert at night, and a scarf if you're visiting mosques or churches.
Egypt is generally safe for tourists, especially in the main destinations. Standard travel-health precautions apply.
Egyptians are famously hospitable, and small courtesies go a long way. The below is the minimum.
Sharm sits in Sinai rather than on the Nile, so our shore excursions play to that: Ras Mohammed National Park, a St Catherine's Monastery and Mount Sinai run, or a Coloured Canyon and Dahab day. If your ship's call is long enough, a fly-in day to the Cairo pyramids can also be arranged. Every excursion is private with a licensed guide, entry tickets and air-conditioned transport included.
Yes. Ras Mohammed's Shark and Yolanda reefs are among the finest coral walls in the Red Sea, and we run private snorkelling and diving days from the port with licensed dive centres. We match the boat and the sites to whether you are a first-time snorkeller or a certified diver. The day is timed so you are showered and back aboard your ship before all-aboard.
It can be, but only by air rather than road, and only if your ship is in port long enough. The Sinai-to-Cairo drive is too long for a single call, so a pyramids day from Sharm is built around a short domestic flight. Tell us your exact call hours by WhatsApp and we will confirm honestly whether it fits before you commit.
Yes — returning you before all-aboard is the non-negotiable anchor of every Sharm excursion we plan. Sinai desert runs to St Catherine and reef days alike are timed against your ship's departure with a buffer. Your private driver and guide monitor the schedule and adjust the return if your call time changes.
Sinai has its own entry arrangements that differ from the rest of Egypt, and what applies to you depends on your nationality and where your excursion goes — Ras Mohammed and St Catherine, for example, sit outside the Sinai-only permit area. We confirm the exact requirement for your passport and itinerary when you enquire. Send us your nationality and call date and we will spell out what you need.
Tell us what you most want to see. A consultant in Cairo replies with a draft itinerary and a real price within one working day.
