Egypt Travel Packages

Ten kinds of trip, all private, all run by our own team in Cairo. Start with the one that sounds like your holiday and we will adjust the rest.

38 packages 4 – 21 days From $390 per person All private

A package is just an itinerary we have run enough times to know it works. Every one on this page is private — your own guide and driver — and every one can be changed. Roughly half our guests move something before they travel.

The categories below are about the shape of the trip rather than the price. A classic tour and a luxury tour visit the same temples; the difference is the hotels, the flights and how much of the day is unscheduled.

Where most people land

Nine to twelve days is the sweet spot. That gives Cairo three days, four nights on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, and either Alexandria or the Red Sea at the end. Under a week we would rather sell you a focused Cairo trip than a scramble.

What is always included

A licensed Egyptologist throughout, private air-conditioned transport, entry tickets to every site named in the itinerary, airport meet-and-assist, and all service charges and taxes. International flights and the entry visa are not.

Changing a package

Send us the version you want — a city swapped, days added, the boat upgraded, the shopping-free afternoon you actually wanted — and we re-price it, usually the same day. There is no fee for that and no deposit to see it.

When to travel

October to April for the archaeology. May to September for the Red Sea, at roughly two-thirds of the price.

November – FebruaryPeak season. Luxor sits at 23–25°C, ideal for tombs and temples. Busiest and priciest — book about three months ahead.
March – April, October – NovemberOur own favourite. 29–35°C, noticeably thinner crowds, and prices below the December peak.
May – September41°C in Upper Egypt by lunchtime. Excellent for Hurghada and Sharm, hard work in the Valley of the Kings unless you finish by eleven.
Nights get cold8°C in Luxor in January is normal, and cruise sun decks are chilly after dinner. Bring a jacket — nobody expects to need one.
What we'd book. Late October or early November for a first trip — warm enough for the coast, cool enough for the tombs, six weeks clear of the Christmas crowds.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Our Egypt packages fall into four groups: classic (Cairo plus a Nile cruise), luxury (five-star hotels and deluxe cruises), family (adjusted pace and children's rates), and specialist (honeymoon, spiritual and the 2027 solar eclipse). All share the same core route — Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and the Nile — and every package is private with a licensed Egyptologist. You receive a written itinerary before you commit to anything.

It depends on how much of the country you want. A Cairo-focused escape works in around six days, while a full Cairo-plus-Nile-cruise itinerary is more comfortable at eight or more, and adding a Red Sea coda or a Dahabiya sailing extends it further. Because every package is private, we adjust the length to your dates rather than forcing you into a fixed departure. Tell us your available days and we will suggest the honest best fit.

Our multi-day packages include hand-picked hotels, all entry tickets and air-conditioned transport with a licensed Egyptologist throughout. Where the itinerary spans Cairo and the south, domestic flights or a Nile cruise link the stops, and exactly what is included is set out in the written itinerary you approve before booking. International flights to and from Egypt are arranged separately.

Yes — every package is private and built as a starting point, not a fixed coach tour. You can slow the pace, add a Red Sea beach segment, swap a standard cruise for a Dahabiya, or focus on a theme such as a honeymoon or a spiritual itinerary. Send us your interests and dates by enquiry form or WhatsApp and we tailor the route before you confirm.

Prices are quoted per person in USD and fall as your group grows, so families and small groups pay less per head than a couple. You book by enquiry form or WhatsApp, review a written itinerary, and free cancellation applies more than 30 days before departure. We reply quickly, so you can settle the details without pressure.
