Who we are

Min Travel is a tour operator registered in Egypt and licensed by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, with its office at 28 Moeizz El Dawola Street, off Makram Ebeid Street, Nasr City, Cairo. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Min Travel.

If you have any question about how we handle your information, write to info@mintravel.net and a person will answer.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, nationality, the dates and trip details you give us, and anything you write in the notes field. That is the whole list.

If you go on to book, we additionally collect passport details for hotel and cruise registration, which Egyptian law requires us to hold, and the billing details needed to take payment. We never see or store your full card number — payments run through Stripe.

Our site sets a small number of cookies to remember your preferences and to measure which pages are read. You can refuse them and everything still works.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and build your itinerary. To make the hotel, cruise, flight and guide reservations in your name. To reach you if something changes while you are travelling. And to meet the record-keeping obligations placed on licensed Egyptian operators.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your details to retarget you elsewhere on the internet.

Who we share it with

Only the suppliers who need it to deliver your trip: the hotels you are staying in, the cruise line, the airline for domestic flights, and your guide. Each receives the minimum required — a hotel gets your name and passport number, not your itinerary or your budget.

We never sell your data, and we never pass it to third parties for marketing. No exceptions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after 24 months. Booking records are kept for seven years, which is the retention period Egyptian tax and tourism regulations require. Passport copies are deleted within 90 days of your trip ending.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where we are legally required to keep booking records. You can also withdraw consent for seasonal emails at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

Email info@mintravel.net and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

How we protect it

The site runs over TLS. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified. Access to booking records inside our office is limited to the consultants working on your trip. Passport scans are stored encrypted and deleted on the schedule above.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting people with live bookings will be emailed rather than quietly posted.
