16 toursCairo & Giza day tours
The Giza pyramids, the Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara, Islamic Cairo and Khan El Khalili. Half-day, full-day and evening options.

Private day tours across six cities — a licensed Egyptologist, an air-conditioned car and every entry ticket, from your hotel door and back.
A day tour is the easiest way to add Egypt to a trip that is not primarily about Egypt — a Nile cruise with a spare morning, a Red Sea holiday, a long layover in Cairo. Every tour below is private: your own guide, your own driver, and a start time you choose.
Prices fall sharply with group size, because the car and the guide cost the same whether one of you gets in or six — so the more of you travel together, the lower the per-person price. Send us your numbers and we’ll quote it exactly.
Cairo covers the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Islamic Cairo, and reaches Alexandria in a long day. Luxor and Aswan are the temple cities and sit either end of the Nile cruise route. Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh are Red Sea resorts, and both run day trips inland if you want to see Luxor without moving hotels.
Hotel pick-up and drop-off, a licensed Egyptologist guide, a private air-conditioned vehicle, entry tickets to everything named in the itinerary, bottled water, and lunch on the full-day tours. The Egypt entry visa, optional extras such as the camel ride or the inside of the Great Pyramid, and tipping are not included.
Day tours are confirmed on request, usually within a couple of hours, and can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up. In summer we push for an early start — the Giza plateau is a very different place at 7am than at 11.
Six bases, each with its own set of tours. Pick the city you are staying in — or the one you can reach in a day.

A day tour is where the shortcuts usually show. These four are the difference.

“Our guide Hoda knew every corner of the Valley of the Kings and got us in before the coaches arrived. Fourteen days and not one wasted morning.”
“Our flight to Aswan was cancelled the night before. The team rebooked us, moved the hotel and messaged at 1am to confirm. We didn't lose a single site.”
“The boat is comfortable rather than glamorous — be clear on that. But the guiding was the best of the three trips I have taken to Egypt.”
We run private day trips in every major hub — the Giza pyramids and museums from Cairo, the Valley of the Kings and Karnak from Luxor, Philae and Abu Simbel from Aswan, reef and desert days from Hurghada and Sharm, and the Mediterranean sights of Alexandria. Each is a self-contained day with a licensed Egyptologist, entry tickets and air-conditioned transport included. Hotel pick-up is part of every trip.
Yes — every day trip is private, so the start time is yours rather than a coach departure you have to match. That matters most in summer, when we begin Valley of the Kings and pyramid visits early to beat the heat and crowds. The pace, the order of sites and the lunch stop are all arranged around your group.
You can, but we advise honestly rather than cramming — Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Islamic Cairo are three very different places, and doing all of them well in one day is how people end up remembering none of it. Because the trip is private, we tailor how much you attempt to your energy and interests. Two rich stops usually beats four rushed ones.
Yes. Every day trip includes pick-up and drop-off at your hotel within the tour's city, along with a licensed Egyptologist, all entry tickets and air-conditioned transport. Your guide meets you in the lobby at the agreed time, so there is no negotiating with taxis or site touts. Just tell us your hotel when you book.
Prices are per person in USD and fall as your group grows, so couples who join with friends or another family pay less per head. Book by enquiry form or WhatsApp with your dates and hotel, and we reply quickly to confirm. Free cancellation applies more than 30 days before the trip.

Tell us which city you are in and what you most want to see. A consultant in Cairo replies with two or three options and exact prices for your group size — usually within a couple of hours.
