Making a booking
There is no online checkout on this site. You send an enquiry, we confirm what is actually available on your dates, and we reply with a written quote listing every hotel and boat by name. Nothing is committed until you accept that quote in writing.
A 20% deposit confirms the booking through a secure payment link. The balance is due 21 days before arrival. For bookings made inside 21 days, full payment is due on confirmation.
Prices and currency
All prices are quoted in US dollars unless stated otherwise. We accept euros and pounds sterling at the official daily exchange rate on the payment date.
Prices reflect current market conditions, seasonal fluctuation and service availability, and may change without notice before a deposit is received. Once a deposit or full payment is received, your booking price is locked and guaranteed.
A 25% holiday supplement applies to all Nile cruises and tour packages travelling over Christmas, New Year and Easter.
What is included
Each itinerary states exactly what is included. In general that means accommodation as detailed, private or group transport, a professional licensed guide, daily breakfast and other meals as specified, entrance fees to the sites named, domestic flights or transfers where applicable, and 24/7 on-ground support.
Not included: international flights, the Egypt entry visa, travel insurance, optional excursions, drinks unless stated, personal expenses and tipping.
Cancellation and refunds
Multi-day tours and cruises. Free cancellation with a full refund more than 30 days before departure. Between 30 and 14 days, the deposit is retained. Inside 14 days the booking is non-refundable.
Day tours. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. Inside 24 hours the tour is charged in full, as the guide and vehicle are already committed.
All cancellations must be sent in writing to info@mintravel.net. Refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 working days.
Changes by you or by us
You may change dates or itinerary free of charge more than 30 days before departure, subject to availability and any difference in price. Inside 30 days, changes are treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
We may occasionally adjust the order of visits because of water levels, site closures, weather or security guidance. Every site listed is still visited; only the timing moves. If a change is material we tell you before departure and you may cancel with a full refund.
Children
Under 6 travel at 50% of the adult rate and 6 to 11 at 75%, sharing a room with two adults. From 12 the full adult rate applies. Child seats and cots are provided free on request.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of booking. It must cover medical expenses, repatriation and cancellation, and it must cover any optional activity you intend to add — diving and hot-air ballooning are commonly excluded from standard policies.
Our liability
Min Travel is licensed by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and carries full liability cover on every departure. We are responsible for the services we provide directly.
We are not liable for loss or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including airline schedule changes, weather, site closures ordered by the authorities, or civil disruption. In those cases we will do everything practical to find an alternative at no extra cost to you.
Conduct and safety
Guides may decline to take a guest into a site where doing so would be unsafe, and may end a tour without refund in cases of behaviour that endangers others. Egypt’s archaeological sites have uneven ground, steep tomb ramps and limited shade — tell us in advance about any mobility or medical need and we will adjust the route rather than the price.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be settled in the courts of Cairo.
