Egypt Spiritual Tour: 7 Days Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh & Catherine
A spiritual 7-day Egypt journey — Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh & Catherine, following Egypt's religious heritage.

Every itinerary on this page is private — your own guide, your own driver, your own pace — with hotels and cruise boats our team has inspected in person. The archaeology is done properly, the pace is yours, and nothing on any of them is a commission stop.
Most guests take between 9 and 12 days. That is long enough to give Cairo three full days, spend four nights on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, and still finish on the Red Sea rather than flying home exhausted.
Eight days covers Cairo and a short cruise. Ten gives you Cairo, Luxor and Aswan without rushing. Twelve or more lets you add Alexandria or the Red Sea. Under a week, we would rather sell you a focused Cairo trip than a scramble.
October to April. Upper Egypt reaches 41°C by lunchtime between June and August, which makes tomb days genuinely unpleasant. Those months are excellent for the Red Sea and considerably cheaper.

“Our guide Hoda knew every corner of the Valley of the Kings and got us in before the coaches arrived. Fourteen days and not one wasted morning.”
“Our flight to Aswan was cancelled the night before. The team rebooked us, moved the hotel and messaged at 1am to confirm. We didn't lose a single site.”
“The boat is comfortable rather than glamorous — be clear on that. But the guiding was the best of the three trips I have taken to Egypt.”

October to April for the archaeology. May to September for the Red Sea, at roughly two-thirds of the price.
Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival or apply online before travelling. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
The currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP). US dollars and euros are widely accepted at hotels and cruise boats; local shops and cafés want EGP.
Layered light clothing during the day, something warmer for the desert at night, and a scarf if you're visiting mosques or churches.
Egypt is generally safe for tourists, especially in the main destinations. Standard travel-health precautions apply.
Egyptians are famously hospitable, and small courtesies go a long way. The below is the minimum.
A spiritual tour focuses on Egypt's sacred landscape — the temples of Karnak, Luxor, Philae and Abu Simbel, and the ancient sites tied to ritual and the afterlife. We can also weave in the Holy Family trail through Coptic Cairo, so the itinerary reads as a journey through Egypt's layered religious history rather than a standard sightseeing loop.
Because every spiritual tour is private, we set start times to reach the temples early or late in the day when they are quietest, giving you space for reflection rather than a scrum. Your licensed Egyptologist paces the visit to your group and can allow time for quiet moments at each site.
Yes. Spiritual tours are private and flexible, so we build the days around what matters to you — extra time in a specific temple sanctuary, an early-morning felucca on the Nile, or space set aside for meditation. Tell us your focus when you enquire and we design the itinerary accordingly.
Our guides are licensed Egyptologists who know the religious and mythological background of each temple in depth — the gods, the rituals and the symbolism carved into the walls. They present the history accurately and respectfully, leaving room for your own experience of the sites.
Most spiritual itineraries pair Cairo with a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, since the great temples line the river. The cruise gives you unhurried days on the Nile between sites, and every excursion, entry ticket and air-conditioned transfer on the programme is included.
