“Our flight to Aswan was cancelled the night before. The team rebooked us, moved the hotel and messaged at 1am to confirm. We didn't lose a single site.”

Frequently asked questions

Most packages include hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, guided tours to the major attractions, private or shared transport, and airport transfers. Many also include entry tickets to the sites, a Nile cruise option, and a professional Egyptologist guide throughout.

International flights are usually not included, but most packages offer optional domestic flights between Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. This saves time and makes travelling between cities far more comfortable. You can add flights or choose overland transport depending on your budget and schedule.

Egypt is generally safe for tourists, especially in the main destinations of Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada. Security is maintained at airports, hotels and archaeological sites. Travelling with a licensed operator adds a further layer of safety and means you always have someone to call.

October to April, when the weather is cool enough for comfortable sightseeing at the pyramids, temples and open-air sites. Summer is hot in Upper Egypt but excellent for Red Sea holidays and for budget-friendly deals.

Yes. Guided tours are led by certified Egyptologists who explain the history and significance of each site. Guiding is included for the major attractions — the Pyramids, the Luxor temples, the museums and all Nile cruise excursions.

Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival or apply online for an e-Visa before travelling. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date. A few nationalities need a pre-arranged visa, so check the current rules for your passport — or ask us and we will confirm.
