The first thing you can expect when traveling with Min Travel is a safe journey that arrives in plenty of time. We handpick our representatives and drivers for their demeanor and fantastic knowledge of Brisbane’s highways and byways. If there is a problem on the roads that can be avoided, it will be. You can also expect: But wait…there’s more?
Your guide for the day will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and transfer you to El Alamein to visit the Military Museum is located 105 KM west of Alexandria. The Museum opened in the year 1956 during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser. The El Alamein War Museum was renewed and reopened in 1992 during the presidency of Mubarak. Continue to visit the WW II Cemeteries, located on the west of the town, on a small peninsula overlooking the sea. The citadel-like cemeteries are the final resting place for the commonwealth, Greek, Italian and German soldiers. After that transferred you to Marsa Matruh and finally to Siwa overnight.
After breakfast, visit Dead Mountain, Siwa House Museum & the Old Fortress of Shali, then visit the Oracle Temple, where you will see the coronation hall of Alexander the Great, then the ruins of Amoun Temple. Swim in Cleopatra Pool, then Dakrour Mountain (famous for its hot sand, the best place ever for sand baths, used as an effective natural cure for rheumatism, rheumatoid… etc.). Backed to Camp and overnight.
Breakfast and afternoon start by Jeep 4×4 to swimming in the salt & freshwater lakes of Bir Wahed, then the Hot Spring and stops to collect shells from Fossils Mountain.
Then enjoy watching the sunset from the highest place around Siwa and having dinner around the fire. Sleep overnight in the desert covered by the stars.
Early morning breakfast, then drive over the highest Sand Dunes (app. 80 M) in the western desert to the east.
After that, swim in Abou-Shrouf, the Biggest and cleanest spring. (it’s sulfured water and good for the skin and rheumatism).
Afterward, we continue to visit Zauton (the Old village of Abou-Shrouf), then see the Olives’ oil press & black Roman Tomb, Ein Safi (or Safi Spring) & the Roman Tombs (full of Skeletons). On the way back to Siwa, visit Koraishet Spring overnight in Camp.

Guide for a group day tour: LE 200,-
The bus driver for a private day tour: LE 100,-
Guide for a private day tour: LE 150,-
Baggage handling: LE 05, – per bag per trip
These tips will be given to the driver, and guide after the services.
Nile Cruise: The Tip is about 3 to 5 US$ Per Person per Night.

Most foreign currencies, cash, or traveler’s cheque can easily be changed in Egypt. There are many exchange bureaus in the larger cities but they mainly only deal in cash. Visa and MasterCard are suitable for cash advances and American Express JCB cards and Euro cards can be used in a wide range of shops and hotels. If you travel to lesser tourist areas while touring Egypt, the best currencies are US dollars, Pounds Sterling, and Egyptian Pounds.
Banking is usually open Sunday to Thursday: 0830 to 1400 hours.
All the major currencies including Euro and US $ are accepted in Egypt. Also, all the major credit cards (Visa, Masters, and American Express) are accepted in Egypt.
We need 50% of the total tour cost at the time of the confirmation of the tour. This is to be sure that you’re booking a genuine one and we can go ahead with the reservations. The rest of the Payment must be upon arrival on a Cash Basis.
Deciding when to come to Egypt depends a lot on where you want to go. Everywhere south of Cairo is uncomfortably hot in the summer months (June-August), especially Luxor and Aswan, so winter (December-February) is the best time to visit these areas. Summer is also the time when the Mediterranean coast is at its most crowded, but winter in Cairo can get pretty cool. March to May or September to November is the best time to enjoy the warm days without the crush of bodies on the beaches and the midday heat of high summer.
Our Private Tour Package means you will have your own private local tour guide, private vehicle, and private driver for your group. You don’t have to share the vehicle with others. Your tour guide will take care of only your group. With the help of your private tour guide.
If you are traveling with your family or a group of friends, a private tour for your group is ideal. As you will have more people in the group, the price won’t be much higher than a join-in group tour. It is a good way to save money and enjoy ultimate service.
Passports should be valid for at least six months after you depart from the country. Please do not bring an almost full or almost expired passport. Visa arrangements are the responsibility of the traveler, and requirements are subject to change by the local authorities.
We recommend that you contact your closest Egyptian consulate or embassy for current information about your nationality.
In general official advice is that all nationalities obtain their Egypt visas in advance, as we cannot guarantee that you can get them at the airport. Or you can get An online e-visa. Please do not use any other website as many scam sites are offering Egypt e-visas.
In practice, however, many nationalities (including British and European, Australian, New Zealand, USA, and Canadian) can and do obtain their visas on arrival at Cairo airport. The process is much quicker and simpler, the cost is currently US$25 p/p and must be paid in hard currency (i.e. GBP, USD, or EUR) – you’ll be given a change in local currency if necessary.
There are no forms to fill in and you don’t need to bring passport photos. Visas are issued at one of the bank desks in the immigration hall before you get to passport control. Our representative will have met you by this stage and will assist with the process.
All African & Indian nationals, and some others, will need to obtain their visas in advance.
